I've been thinking...

So after reading the comments on the last two chapters I wanted to do a small for fun poll. I know most of you are Team Marcus, but there are a few Team Mulo fans as well.

This story is coming to an end, and like with Fiendish I will give it a proper send off. The ending is not yet written, and again like Fiendish this story has morphed from what I had originally planned for an outcome when it was all said and done. Oh who am I kidding? This entire freaking story changed LOL.

Anyway, as I bring it to a close, I wondered what you guys hoped to see as an ending in regards to who Amari ends up with.

Feel free to express yourself in the comments below.

  2. While I do think that Amari doesn't really deserve to be forgiven for not bothering to talk to Marcus while she was with Mulo, I do think Marcus at least deserves to be happy for what he's gone through to be with her and take care of not just the babies, but Finley as well. (Not to say only good men would do that, its the right thing to do. But he took to it immediately and definitely treats Finley like a daughter he loves, not a daughter by duty).

So I voted Marcus cause I think Amari will make him happy.

Also I want Mulo to die a horrible, painful death. I picked Marcus mostly cause of this.

    1. Hahaha! I love this woman! And I couldn't agree more!

That last line is awesome :D

    2. LOL...so Cece you want Marcus to be happy not really caring about Amari's fate? LOL...nice. She did wrong and will have lots of groveling to do to make up for it. I'm sure that if Marcus really does love her, she will get forgiveness at some point, but it won't come easy.

He does love Finley, he had no problem stepping right in and caring for her or loving her. He feels that way towards all of Amari's other kids.

Amari can and has made Marcus happy...he's just really pissed and hurt right now.

hahaha ouch...poor Mulo :( and DJ you agree? of course you do :P

    1. aww...why'd delete? Marcus is ahead right now, but it's not a landslide by any means. Anything is possible.

This isn't to predict the outcome, I was just curious. :)

  4. I really like Mulo and feel that she should end up with him. However, she has all those children by Marcus and they, for the most part, know who their father is. The quadruplets are too young to know and the triplets didn't know until they were much older, but still, Marcus is most likely not going to want his children around Mulo. I was really hoping Amari and Mulo would have another child besides Aric. I mean, Mulo is the one holding her on the banner above! They've been through so much already and Marcus knew about about (almost) everything between them before they got married. It looks like Marcus is winning and if he does win I'll be completely fine with that. He appears to be the one Amari wants to be with BUT she does tend to run to Mulo a lot more. Even now she chose to be with him over Marcus after she was in a coma.

Also, this is a great story and I think you are awesome Jazen!

    1. You are right about Marcus not wanting his children around Mulo. If Amari were to go with Mulo, she would be walking away from them (the quads) as well as Marcus because he would fight her for custody no doubt.

Sadly it was not in the cards for her and Mulo to have another child. :( She was pregnant with twins but lost them and they haven't been 'together' since. I'm sure he would have loved for her to give him another baby as well.

As for the banner...well Marcus just recently became a vamp and the story was really centered around Amari and how Mulo came in and out of her life. Maybe I should update the banner LOL...

Marcus did know about everything, but he truly believed that her feelings for him trumped those she had for Mulo. These days he's not so sure. :( It is by total circumstance that it's Mulo that she ends up with when times are hard. Marcus hasn't always been around for some of the events in her life and the vamp thing...well she'll try to explain her reasons for staying with Mulo after she woke up in the next chapter.

aww ***blushes*** THANKS!!! I've enjoyed writing it and sharing it with everyone! You are pretty awesome yourself. I appreciate your (and everyone's) input on how they see the story.

  5. Team Mulo isn't too far behind :( I loved what Cece about supporting Marcus and I agree..but a small part of me thinks Amari doesn't deserve happiness. I mean sure she's been throw hell, but mostly because of her own actions. Is it mean to say that? Lol sorry.

    1. LOL nope...surprisingly Mulo has more fans than he knew about. :D

LOL and no it's not mean to say if that's how you feel. Amari is the poster child for bad decision making, hahahaha....I know she is so your feelings are completely understandable.

      thanks for the feedback :)

  6. I definitely am on Team Mulo. Marcus is cool and all but their is just something about Mulo. In a since he reminds me of vampire diaries' Damon. He's volatile, rash, reckless, selfish, and scheming. However deep down you can tell he is just a guy who wants to be loved. I have a funny feeling there is something in his past that makes him act and react the way he dose. I honesty think he and Amari should end up together and it would be interesting to see a chapter further divulging into his past. As for Marcus taking his kids, well a court case for custody with a couple of vampires could happen. However I could hardly see what Marcus could say to the judge without admitting the truth of what they are. Not that I am mad at the guy or anything. He has a right to be angry. I mean Flo had to go down, but Amari did disrupt the poor guys life again. Honestly I would just like to see some compromise and healing near the end of the story. Marcus in a good place, Amari happy with the guy she loves (hopefully Mulo lol), and Mulo taking steps toward walking a better path in his life (hopefully with Amari by his side. lol)

    1. LOL...you like the darker more devious vamp. I don't watch that show, but my daughter does and she's all ga-ga over Damon as well.

He does want to be loved, by Amari and she does love him on some level. They share a different kind of connection she doesn't share with Marcus. It's a tough place for her because she doesn't want to hurt Marcus and she doesn't do it on purpose.

This story has changed so much that I really don't know how things will work out in the end. When I brought Marcus back it was with the full on intention of them having their happily ever after, but since I don't plan things, the story sort of moved and changed like always. I won't know the final outcome honestly until I write it.

      thanks for reading!

  7. I didn't vote because I love both guys and would be happy regardless of who she ends up with. That said, there is a large part of me wants her to realize that she keeps running to Mulo because he can handle everything she AND Marisol can dish out and more. Mulo's love for her is finally showing--he might make it sound selfish, but I think he is even doing that for her benefit at this point. It is also an unconditional love, as she gives him precious little encouragement. You have made Mulo sympathetic character--as every good villain should be--so choosing between the two isn't easy.
I also think that Mulo knows exactly how Amari feels. He isn't a stupid man. He knows that Marcus is the smart choice. He's good and trustworthy and mostly normal. He knows that Amari believes this is what she wants and what will make her happy. But Mulo could see everything when he was linked with her, even her subconscious desires and fears. Mulo knows that Amari is a complex woman and needs more than quiet evenings in front of the TV and family vacations at the beach to satisfy her. He was her first love and that love consumed her. No matter what happens between Amari and Marcus, Mulo will always have a place in her heart.
As for Marcus, what can I say that hasn't already been said by his ample fans. He's HOT! Very HOT!! :-) And he's good hearted. A dedicated father and understanding husband (usually). Any woman with good sense would choose Marcus and the love and life that he can offer. But ultimately the heart wants what the heart wants...and sometimes it doesn't make good sense.

Have you considered putting both men in a room with Amari--all of everyone's needs met--and see how the three interact. See who Amari chooses when left to her own devices? You could even turn off the free will/needs of the men and leave it totally to her. Just a thought though--and I can't wait to see what you have planned!

  8. It is hard to vote, hell I'm torn and I write the story. :(

You are right about the reason she does turn to Mulo. He can handle Marisol and do all the down and dirty things that needs doing without a second thought. Not to say Marcus would not defend his family to the best of his ability, but Mulo has been a vamp the whole time, Marcus is newly turned, there were just some things Marcus could not handle before.

Mulo's love for her has been flawed, but it's there always. For the good and the bad even when she's hated him and cut him off if she needed him, he was there. Marcus does have the same deep love for her, he's proven that by sticking by her side through all the craziness. She's in a tough spot. I think she really does want Marcus and to be with him but she can't completely cut Mulo out of her life either. :(

Both men offer her something she wants and needs in life. She loves both men, but in tow different ways. Mulo sadly knows he has the upper hand in a way because through it all, he's always the one that is left standing when the dust settles. He knows and understands she loves Marcus and wants to make it work with him, but at the same time he knows she loves him and if it doesn't work with Marcus she'd come back to him.

Marcus HATES the idea of losing Amari to Mulo, but at the same time there is only so much he can take. She's not making it easy to love her and God knows he's trying hard.

it will be interesting to see how this story ends (no I don't know yet LOL)

    thanks for reading

  9. I agree with everything Dreamsong said above!! I can't decide!! I can't see Amari leaving her children to be with Mulo. Marcus is the smarter choice and I know she loves him.but there is always Mulo standing in the shadows. I guess the story will just have to continue forever with her being torn between the two!! But seriusly,.however you end.it I'm sure it will be great!!

    1. LOL no it won't continue forever. At some point she will be forced to make a choice. It should be an easy choice, but it's not. :(

Hopefully I can figure out a proper ending because I'm also torn.

      thanks for reading

  10. I'm shocking myself, but I voted Mulo...

Like this story, I've made a complete 360 when I summed up all the things that Amari did to earn the mistrust of Marcus and no kidding... I said it already, he needs to leave her. I love Marcus too much for him to be going through all of this over and over again. I have a bleeding heart for him...

Which is basically why I voted Mulo.
I believe after everything, he is the constant thing in her life. Even if by making her a vampire he set her loose to be with Marcus... Unfortunately they had already crossed the border and we're talking Mejitos and Burritos, baby!
Maybe this is what's best for all the people (vamps) involved.

I am forever TEAM MARCUS (and amarcus), but because of Amari's shit, willing or unwilling, whether she realized it or not, she screwed it all up, I'm letting it go...
